OUR SERVICES
Captain Butch's Water Taxi provides boat transportation service in and around Ft. Myers Beach, FL (including Punta Rassa) on a seasonal basis and during daylight hours only. The service is a pleasant alternative to the problems of stop-and-go traffic and finding that elusive vehicle parking space that typically occur during the height of "season" on the beach.
The water taxi fare is $20.00 per passenger (cash/check only) for destinations within the northern half of Ft. Myers Beach; the fare may decrease depending on your destination and the number of people in your party (call for a quote). Fares to/from Punta Rassa are higher due to the greater distance travelled. The carrying capacity of the water taxi is limited to 6 passengers per trip, absolutely no exceptions.
The specific water taxi service area encompasses any accessible dock north of the business complex comprising of Snook Bight Marina/Bayfront Bistro Restaurant/Publix Supermarket (no service to this complex) and extends to Bowditch Point; service is also available to all of the navigable island and mainland canals within that boundary. Residents and guests located in the Punta Rassa section of Fort Myers may also utilize the service subject to suitable sea conditions.
Although the water taxi is an "on-demand" service, reservations are accepted and highly recommended; an advance notice may insure that your travel needs will be met. Seasonal hours of operation are mid-morning to sunset seven days per week from mid-December through the end of May.
